Are you looking to ensure a healthy smile? Or maybe you already know the benefits of using an electric toothbrush and don’t know what steps to take next?
Let’s take a look at the Philips Sonicare line-up to give you a comparison of three of the top rated electric toothbrushes on the market.
Sonicare DiamondClean: the luxury model of electric toothbrushes, the DiamondClean is the brush that is going to offer you that extra loving your teeth deserve. It comes with an engineered handle that offers 44%
more cleaning efficiency, and multiple timer systems that offer you a plethora of timed brushing options ensuring you brush for the time your teeth need to look their best. A few drawbacks to the golden egg of electric toothbrushes: the price tag (it comes in around $200 depending on where you purchase it), it does not come with the UV brush head sanitizer, and the battery level can be hard to read.
Sonicare Flexcare: the Sonicare Flexcare system came out and was met with rave reviews. Philips created a toothbrush that did what an electric toothbrush needed to
do for a very reasonable price. Going for around $120 this is the cheaper version of its upgraded brother the Sonicare Flexcare +. Coming with basically all of the same attributes as the Flexcare +, the Flexcare has been known to be not the longest lasting of electric toothbrushes, and has been noted to have a weak motor that has hit the bucket after a few months of use. And that is where the plus version has stepped in. Going for a bit more money (around $160), the quality has been stepped up in the bigger brother version.
Sonicare Essence: considered by some to be the most cost valued option of the three Sonicare electric toothbrush options, the Essence also comes with the least amount of options and added features. At aroundthe hundred dollar mark, what it is lacking in no
Quadpacer, extra brushing modes, UV brush head sanitizer, and travel charger, it makes up with have two handles plus two brush heads, 30,000 strokes of a brush per minute, and a little extra cushioning in your pocket. The Sonicare Essence is known to be a little louder than the other brushes out there, and to have a handle that isn’t favourable with those with increased saliva during brushings. All in all though, the Essence is an excellent option for those on a tight budget.
